Green Buildings in Malaysia
In our second group project, our task was to conduct a case study on green buildings in Malaysia. We aimed to select one green building in Malaysia and initiate the process of gathering information to create a comprehensive case study. Our objectives included raising awareness and enhancing public acknowledgement of the significance of green buildings in combatting climate change and fostering healthier environments. Additionally, we aimed to facilitate learning about green building practices by extracting and sharing insights on implemented environmental strategies. Furthermore, our goal was to advocate for sustainable practices in architecture, encouraging a transition towards building designs that prioritize environmental consciousness.
We chose the PAM Centre as our green building for the case study project. Once we finish compiling all the necessary information about the building, we plan to create a video documentation. The video will delve into the details of our case study, highlighting the various aspects of the PAM Centre's green features and sustainable design principles. Additionally, it will showcase the significance of this building as a model for environmentally conscious architecture in Malaysia. Further information regarding the case study and the video production will be provided below.
